History of Art and why it’s really necessary for Human life?

Why art is necessary in life

History of Art and why it’s really necessary for Human life?: I’m an accountancy by profession and an artist at spirit. I adore making paper collage artworks as well as an acrylic painting on canvas. I found interesting painting methods and styles in general.

However, I’ve been bothered with the question “Is art necessary?” for quite some time. I’ve been thinking about how I could better utilize my time. Make a significant and noteworthy contribution. Do something that will benefit the world, something that will be truly valuable and may make a big difference.

Also, I need to figure out what I want to do with my life. Yes, it’s the age-old question: “Is this all there is?” Making art became, all of a sudden, a form of self-indulgence. I feel as if I should have spent my time doing something more essential. As a result, I began to question whether art was really required.

History of Art and why it’s really necessary for Human life?

Every morning, I read the newspaper. I read to keep up with current events. Crimes have been committed, according to the report. Of heinous acts committed against women and children. Natural disasters have wreaked havoc on the environment. People who are either short on water or have too much of it. Pollution of the air and climate change are two issues that need to be addressed. Plastic is harming marine life, while heartless governments are wreaking havoc on the surroundings.

For personal benefit, corrupt politicians are shredding the societal fabric. Ill-informed people are bringing the economy to its knees. At the discretion of management, the wrong people are repressing and undermining the good. I’m not sure if anything will ever be able to stop the rot. It doesn’t give me much of a cause to smile.

So, while I’ve mostly felt like Nero fiddling while Rome burned, I suddenly caught myself on that final phrase. The small cartoon Calvin and Hobbes seemed to be the only thing that could distract me from the morning paper’s persistent melancholy. The lovely emotions on the little stuffed tiger. A cleverly produced cartoon with only three or four panels delivering a message, usually funny.

Bringing the reader into the lives of a small child can leave them wondering where the story will go next. This cartoon always makes me want to read it. Even when I’m running late in the mornings, I take a quick peek at the comic. During the holidays, I like to sit and admire the cartoonist’s creativity. In one panel, the plush tiger appears to be alive, but in the next, it appears to be a toy.  I appreciate it. It’s all about the magic of Bill Watterson.

So, if this cartoon isn’t art, what is it, I wondered? It gives me a break from the dismal news and monotony of reading the daily newspapers. It enhances me in some ways by providing me with a vision of something magnificent. Isn’t that all art is supposed to do?

Apparently art is like the clouds separating and letting in a beam of sunshine in a world filled with misery. Isn’t that significant? Dying, devastation, bloodshed, and despair will always be present. There will always be bad news to report and those who require assistance. However, art must also survive.

Art can bring a sense of respite from the monotony of everyday living. Perhaps this is also why they produced so much art in previous centuries, when daily life was a struggle and epidemics and battles caused so much illness and misery. Today, we are elevated and overwhelmed with amazement when we look at works of art from the past, because of the majesty of their imagination, the magnitude of their talent, and permanence of their creative arts.

This is why art is so important. If not all art can be comparable to the great masters, each piece of art communicates to someone in its own way. On a cloudy day, it does bring a ray of hope. It raises the creator’s soul and gives the audience a look into another realm, if only for a brief while. And, if it’s really great art, it makes the audience wonder, smile, or be awestruck.

Thus, art is required. All forms of art are required. I came to the decision that continuing to develop art for myself and for the advantage of others was critical.

The next topic I’m debating is how much time I should devote to my art. Calvin said.”God put me on this earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now I am so far behind that I will never die.” So I believe art is highly necessary for the dynamic era.

Artwork Online

The results of the study described below should be regarded solely as empirical information of widespread, specific cultural attitudes. When assessing the art world’s nearly unimaginably diverse and broad activities, it would be absurd to use the person being interviewed, condensed responses from less than a thousand responders as some sort of uncontested fact.

The opinions of individuals do, however, allude to more widely understood issues. The study raises some interesting points about the future of online art sales in a variety of formats:

“A new survey finds that the proportion of art purchasers who buy online has dropped in the last year, and that the rise of online art sales has decreased for the second year in a row. Although the internet art industry has continued to develop, the results may raise alarms for artists who make a career selling work online.

The survey also found that mobile purchases have continued to increase and take a larger share of the market, and social media remains a key way for people to find new art. “The future of the online market is guaranteed, although the shape remains a mystery,” writes Robert Read, Head of Art and Private Clients at Hiscox, the insurance company behind the report.

“Buying art continues to be enormously joyful and thrilling (as well as occasionally difficult),” he says, “and the continuous rapid growth of online, particularly Instagram, helps drive the market’s rise.”

Changing Sales

The findings of the analysis, which also consider the influence of cryptocurrency and cyberattacks, are based on replies from 831 art purchasers who were polled via Art Tactic’s customer mailing list. In the past year, roughly 43% of art consumers purchased items online, down from 49% the year before. The slowdown was especially noticeable among those under the age of 35.

Only 36% of this demographic purchased art online in the previous year, comparing to 44% the year before.

This shows that the art world is “having problems to transform reluctant, as well as infrequent online shoppers, into repeat clients,” as per survey. While the online art market expanded by 20-25 percent between 2013 and 2015, Hiscox says that there has been a slowdown in the following 24 months, “possibly as the business strives to widen and increase its internet consumer base.”

In 2016, the market grew at a rate of 15%, while in 2017, it grew at a rate of 12%.

Accessing Art

Instagram, which had 800 million monthly active users in January 2018 and is anticipated to surpass 1 billion by the end of the year, was chosen by 63 percent of survey participants as their preferred channel for discovering art.

As per the study results, the three categories with the highest Instagram followers were “museums,” “artists,” and “galleries.” Tate’s Instagram account has a following of 2 million people. Price transparency was a critical quality for 90% of new art purchasers when determining which online art sales to buy from, making this a possible roadblock to increased sales.

Threats

Over half of the selling platforms questioned had been the subject of suspected cyber threats in the previous year, according to the analysis. Around 15% of those polled believed an attack had been effective. Over 40% of online art buyers are frightened or very worried about cybercrime when purchasing art online, and 82 percent stated they would most probably buy from sites they were familiar with owing to fear of being scammed.

“The art industry is dominated by small and medium sized enterprises, which have traditionally been at the less innovation, more comfortable end of the scale,” Read concludes. These companies are exposed, and our findings indicate that cyber thieves are becoming aware of this, maybe perceiving the art market as a potential target.” Professional in the Arts.

The Message Is The Medium

Artwork sales as they relate to typically understood paintings, prints, or often smaller artworks are discussed. A ‘gallery view’ is ideally suited for these, similar to the architecture of the most prominent advertising tool deployed, Instagram, with its sequence of displays.

Each step of the project has been impacted, it may be said. From idea to conception through end-client distribution, all aspects must account for the promotional constraints that such a medium inevitably imposes, either deliberately or unconsciously.

Thus, an artist who benefits from the use of ‘gallery view’ sales channels can focus their efforts, whatever positively or negatively they may be independently, in order to obtain the best outcome when their artwork is reviewed through this type of platform.

A similar argument may be made for mixtures, larger tri compositions, performances, or any other kind of contemporary art. If the goal of artistic creation is unrestricted creativity or the dissemination of new ideas, such a personality and persuasive delivery system might raise some concerns.

Who’s Buying & Why?

Galleries and consultants were formerly seen as guardians and authority in the art industry. The Tate’s two million social media followers demonstrate that source repute and impact may still outweigh deference to subjective interpretation. At the very least, official reputation could serve as a sort of quality screening signal for what is an attractively diverse.

This collaborative work appraisal maintains a major impact when considered as financial instruments.

However, when legislatively organized gatekeepers are confronted with democratized, self-controlled, and practically completely decentralized purchasing powers, a discrepancy occurs. Almost any gallery’s generating and consumption target markets can engage in direct art exchanges.

How to feed your mind to be more creative?

Each artist has the ability to reach a virtually endless public through digital portals on their own. Although their credibility, knowledge, and/or ‘formal’ status may be diminished as a result of the diversity of participants and the presentation context. Galleries or consultants may preserve an informed competence, discriminating discernment, and or admiration well beyond what is popularly understood at this moment.

Despite the numerous methods available for achieving ownership, a buyer’s choice in selection might still be perceived as emancipated.

Buyers may choose to directly buy from the artist or rely on professional guidance. Do they value a component, or did they buy it because they thought it was valuable? The democratization of accessibility raises the question of how value is now co-created.

Sources of Arts

The single most influential aspect was identified as price transparency. Security considerations and the utilization of reputable channels are essentially incorporated into that metric. Any ‘transparency’ in pricing would be secondary and misleading if the site, network, or media was not reliable or trustworthy.

From source to reception, transparency entails open evaluation and straightforward accounting. To quantify pricing, however, one must rely on a single collective or subjective assessment. It is the price that can be obtained during a resale or that is ego as a result of emotions or connection. Transparency may not provide a solid, generally expandable foundation on its own.

The eye of the observer or market [beholders] determines the attributed value, which is as varied as the art itself.

Publicly choices available, whether online or offline, informally demand that artwork sales be made from a perspective of knowledgeable value advice or as a means of facilitating personal opinion. Subjective gradations and assertions about the merit of a work cannot be applied equally or properly.

Perspectives on Art from All over the Globe

Throughout the centuries, art has taken on various forms and interpretations. Naturalism came first, following by romanticism, abstract art, expressionism, surrealism, and eventually postmodernism. Here, I’d want to provide my perspective on several art schools.

Mimesis was the springboard for naturalism. Art’s goal was to imitate nature. Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa is a classic example of mimetic art. Mona Lisa’s enigmatic aesthetic has endured through the years. Another example is Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. Religious elements become increasingly prevalent in art.

What contribution has naturalism made to the world? Projection of a mimic ethos is one possibility. Naturalistic art has little to explain, but we might admire its resemblance to nature. I’d also like to take Michelangelo’s David sculpture. What might a contemporary take on it look like? It’s possible that it’ll be framed as gay.

Impressionism was another art movement that emerged in the 18th century. What is romanticism, exactly? Romanticism, according to poet Wordsworth, is “the spontaneous overflow of feelings.” Feelings were captured on canvas by Romanticism. The canvas was saturated with rich baroque colours. Painting in the Romantic period is extravagant and beautiful.

In the modern society, we find reconciliation with the past when we think of romanticism. The exhibit by Goya, Saturn eating his kid, is a notable example. Saturn is depicted as an amazing beauty, despite his ugly appearance. Passionate neurosis is a characteristic of Romantic painters. Emotional responses are there for us to ponder in rapture.

Abstract expressionism was another art movement that emerged around the turn of the nineteenth century. Van Gogh, Monet, and Gauguin are among the greatest impressionist painters. Impressionism is a distinct art movement. A large number of dazzling colors are used to create an impression. Strokes were left on the canvas like scars. Impressionism was characterized by the modernization of art. Van Gogh was a skilled artist who created paintings in a unique style that set him apart from his contemporaries.

When we look at Van Gogh’s night sky, we feel a passion similar to that which we feel when we listen to the music. Similarly, Gauguin’s painting ‘where do we come from and where do we go’ uses vibrant colour to accentuate legendary allusions.

Cubism was another art movement that emerged around the turn of the twentieth century. Picasso was its most famous proponent. With the arrival of cubism, art lost its imitation tendencies and became the artist’s exclusive creation. Cubism favored portraying art in abstract terms. Harlots were depicted in Picasso’s La Demoiselles D’ Avignon.

Their chests, hips, and asses, in particular, were made incompatible with archetypal dreams. Picasso’s Guernica is another well-known masterpiece. Guernica is a beautiful abstract representation of the atrocities of bombing Basque. Guernica fascinates us to the point of loathing when we look at it. Cubism demonstrated that art can be revolting.

Surrealism was the second school of art to emerge by the middle of the twentieth century. Dali and Paul Delvaux are two of my favorite surrealism artists. The ‘persistence of memory is Dali’s most renowned picture. Surrealism, which arose from Freudian psychoanalysis, tried to depict art as a mix of realism and hallucination.

We see melting clocks hanging from trees and shrouded by an embryo in the picture Persistence of Memory. A phallic structure can be represented by the tree. Time is depicted as streaming with the philosophy of waves of awareness in the melting clocks. The artist’s oedipal suffering could be represented by the embryo. The Call of the Night is Delvaux’s most recognized artwork.

A bleak land with skulls is seen in the ‘call of the night.’

A topless woman stands in the open, her head covered in lush foliage. There’s also a naked woman with her head wrapped holding a candle outside a building. Delvaux is attempting to depict traditional fertility ceremonies in a modernized manner. The image also has the potential to be viewed as forbidden love. As a result, surrealism attempted to depict dreams as reality.

Next, I’d want to talk about art history. Modern art is current and tends to be a defiance of established artistic rules. Ordinary objects are displayed in unique ways in postmodern art. Take, for example, Marcel Duchamp’s inverted urinal. Pop-art, in which cartoons, comic books, and commercial objects are rendered as artistic representations, was invented by postmodern art.

Rodin’s thinker is another good demonstration of postmodern art. There are two ways to interpret the thinker. One resembles constipation, while the other resembles an intellect engaged in concentration. Postmodern art liberated art from all restraints and preconceived notions.
